On July 20, Alaska Copper River B&B hosted the second annual Salmon Strings Music Festival at Mile 111 on the Richardson Highway. The Salmon Strings 2.0 Music Festival was a blast!

Becca Parrish of Wave Train belts it out at the Salmon Strings Festival.

There was music, community, dancing, camping, food, friends, and fun. Wave Train kicked the day off with the Whiskey Jack following. The lineup continued with new bands taking the stage every hour. Shake City String Band, Evolution of a Thursday, Cody Rose, Zen Trembles and Blackwater Railroad performed, and the night ended rocking with The Chris Craig Band.

The day was a scorcher and so was the music. There was a range of choices of food and drink venues. I have to say I was impressed with all of the amenities attending this festival for the first time. I look forward to next year's event.
