With a young roster, 50% of our team playing volleyball for the first time, and a small squad of just six players, we competed hard against much larger schools. We went 2–5 on Friday and were eliminated in single elimination play on Saturday.
Joelle Scribner (8th grade) earned All-Tournament honors for her stellar performance, leading the team with a 92% serving percentage over the weekend on 48 total serves. Norma Harris (6th grade) and Brooke Lambert (7th grade) also had strong serving performances, posting 90% on 21 serves and 88% on 25 serves, respectively. Natalie Stockhausen (8th grade) led the team in service receive.
The varsity bracket included four Delta teams, Monroe, Valdez, Tok, and Glennallen.
